Experience Toba Aquarium

Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from central Ise, head south on Route 42. Follow the signs for Toba, which will lead you along the coastline. This route offers beautiful views of the ocean. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive in Toba. Look for signs leading to Toba Aquarium. There is parking available at the aquarium, but it may cost around 500 yen for a day.

  • Train

    If you prefer public transportation, take the Kintetsu Line from Iseshi Station towards Toba Station. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Toba Station, exit the station and follow the signs. Toba Aquarium is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station. Simply head south along the main road, and you will see the aquarium on your left.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, you can take a bus from Ise. Head to the Ise City Bus terminal and take the 'Toba' line. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the Toba Aquarium stop. The aquarium is directly across the street from the bus stop. Bus fares are typically around 600 yen.
