Car
If you are driving from central Shima, head southeast on Route 167 towards Ago Bay. Continue along this road for approximately 10 minutes (about 8 km) until you reach the Agocho Shinmei area. Look for signs indicating Kashiko Island. There is a parking area available near the embarkation point for the ferry to the island. Parking fees may apply, usually around 500 yen per day.

From Shima's central bus terminal, take the bus heading towards Ago. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Agocho' bus stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the ferry terminal at Ago Bay. Be aware that the bus fare is approximately 500 yen.

Once you arrive at the ferry terminal in Ago Bay, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Kashiko Island. The ferry operates regularly, with departures approximately every 30 minutes. The ticket price is around 1,500 yen for a round trip. The ferry ride itself takes about 15 minutes, offering beautiful views of the bay.
