Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Iwami and head towards Route 9. Follow Route 9 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the exit towards Yazu District. Take the exit and follow the signs for Iwayado. The temple is located at Iwayado, Wakasa, Yazu District, Tottori 680-0731. There is parking available at the temple, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the JR San-in Line from Iwami Station towards Yonago. Get off at Wakasa Station. From Wakasa Station, you can take a local bus (Yazu Kōtsū) towards Iwayado, which takes about 20 minutes. The bus fare is around 300 yen. Once you arrive at the Iwayado bus stop, the temple is a short 5-minute walk away. Look for signs pointing towards Fudoin Iwayado Temple or ask locals for directions.
