Car
If you are driving from central Iwami, head east on Route 9 towards the coast. Continue on this road for approximately 20 kilometers. Follow signs for Kugami, and as you approach the town, look for Route 431. Turn onto Route 431 and follow it until you see signs for Higashihama Beach. There is parking available near the beach. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 300 yen.
Public Transportation
To reach Higashihama Beach via public transportation, take a bus from Iwami Station or any central bus stop in Iwami that services the route towards Kugami. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited, especially on weekends. The journey may take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Kugami, it is about a 15-minute walk to Higashihama Beach. Follow the signs directing you towards the beach, and enjoy the scenic route along the coast.
