From Izumo Station, take the Izumo City Loop Bus towards Bessho Onsen. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Bessho Onsen' stop. From there, walk east along Besshocho Street for about 10 minutes to reach Gakuenji Temple. The bus fare is approximately ¥300.

From the center of Izumo City, head east on Route 9 towards Matsue. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit towards Besshocho. Continue on Besshocho Road for about 2 kilometers until you reach Gakuenji Temple. Parking is available near the temple. Parking costs are not available.

From the Bessho Onsen area, Gakuenji Temple is a pleasant walk of about 1 kilometer. Walk east along Besshocho Street, and the temple will be on your left. This route offers a great opportunity to enjoy the local scenery.
