  • Public Transport

    From Izumoshi Station, take the Ichibata Railway to Izumo Taisha-mae Station. From there, take a bus towards Taishacho and get off at the Sogano Yashiro stop, a short walk from the shrine. Alternatively, a direct bus from Izumo City to Sogano Yashiro is available, taking approximately 40 minutes. Bus fare is around ¥500.

    From Izumo Taisha, Sogano Yashiro is located directly behind the Honden (main sanctuary) at the foot of Mt. Yakumoyama. Follow the signs within the Izumo Taisha complex to reach the auxiliary shrine. The walk is short but involves navigating the expansive shrine grounds.

    From central Izumo, head east on Route 9, following signs for Taishacho. Continue for approximately 15 km until you see signs for Sogano Yashiro in Taishacho Kizukihigashi. Parking is available near the shrine. Parking fees range from ¥300-500 per hour.
