Car
From central Kai, head southeast on Route 20 towards Koto City. Follow the signs for Route 1 and merge onto the Shuto Expressway. Take the exit for Koto City and continue on Tokiwa Street. After approximately 25 minutes, turn left onto 1 Chome-6-3 Tokiwa. The Basho Memorial Hall will be on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. Transfer at Tokyo Station to the JR Keiyo Line and take the train towards Soga. Get off at Koto City Station. Exit the station and walk towards Tokiwa Street. Basho Memorial Hall is about a 15-minute walk from the station. You will see the hall on your left at 1 Chome-6-3 Tokiwa.
