Getting There

  • Walking

    From any of the Enoshima area train stations (Enoden Enoshima Station, Odakyu Katase Enoshima Station, or Shonan Enoshima Station), follow the signs towards Enoshima Island. The walk to the Enoshima Benten Bridge takes approximately 10-15 minutes from any of these stations. Once you reach the bridge, it's a straightforward walk across to Enoshima Island. There are no tolls for pedestrians.

  • Public Transport

    If arriving by train at Fujisawa Station, transfer to either the Enoden or Odakyu lines to reach Enoshima. From Kamakura, the Enoden line is the most convenient. Get off at the Enoshima Station (Enoden Line), Katase Enoshima Station (Odakyu Line), or Shonan Enoshima Station (Shonan Monorail Line). From each of the stations, it is a short walk to the Enoshima Benten Bridge. * Enoden: A ride from Fujisawa Station to Enoshima Station costs 220 yen. * Odakyu Railway: A ride from Fujisawa Station to Katase Enoshima Station costs 170 yen. * Shonan Monorail: A ride from Ofuna Station to Shonan Enoshima Station costs 320 yen.

  • Driving

    If driving, navigate to Enoshima Island and use one of the public parking lots available on the mainland side or on the island. Note that cars are not allowed to enter the island between 10 PM and 5 AM. Parking costs vary. For example, Enoshima Nagisa Parking costs 400 yen per hour, with a maximum daytime fee of 2,000 yen and an overnight fee of 1,000 yen. Enoshima Kamome Parking Lot, which closed in March 2025, charged 620 yen for the first 2 hours, then 200 yen per 30 minutes, with a maximum day rate of 1,540 yen. Kankokyokai Enoshima Parking Lot offers discount tickets for 200 yen/hour (normal rate: 400 yen/hour). After parking, walk to Enoshima Benten Bridge to access the island.
