Walking
If you are starting from Kanazawa Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Walk straight along the main road, which is called Kenroku-machi Street, for about 20 minutes. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. Once you reach the Kenrokuen Garden entrance, continue straight for another 5 minutes, and you will see Shigure-tei located at 1-5 Kenrokumachi on your left.

From Kanazawa Station, find the bus terminal located right outside the station. Take the bus bound for 'Kenrokuen', which is a popular tourist destination. The ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Kenrokuen Garden stop. From there, walk towards the entrance of Kenrokuen Garden, and after entering, you will find Shigure-tei within a short walking distance inside the garden area.
