From the Kanto area, you can access the expressway via routes such as the Kan-Etsu Expressway or the Joban Expressway, depending on your starting point. Once on the Tohoku Expressway, head towards Nasukarasuyama. Take the exit at 'Nasukarasuyama' and follow the signs to Route 293. Continue on Route 293 until you see signs for Ryumon Falls. The falls are located at 414 Taki, Nasukarasuyama, Tochigi 321-0633. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Ryumon Falls by public transportation, start by taking a train to Nasukarasuyama Station. From Tokyo Station, you can take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Utsunomiya Station and transfer to the JR Utsunomiya Line towards Nasukarasuyama. The train journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving at Nasukarasuyama Station, take a local bus towards the falls. The bus ride is about 30 minutes, and you may need to check the local schedule for bus times as they can vary. The bus fare is approximately 500 yen. After alighting, follow the signs to the falls, which are a short walk from the bus stop.
