Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from central Shimotsuke and head towards Route 4. Drive north on Route 4 for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Utsunomiya City. Take the exit for Route 123 towards Hanawada. Continue on Route 123 for about 5 minutes and then turn left onto Hanawada 5 Chome. Follow the signs to Hachimanyama Park. There is parking available at the park, but please note that parking fees may apply.

    For those using public transportation, start at the Shimotsuke Station. Take the Tohoku Shinkansen (bullet train) to Utsunomiya Station, which takes about 20 minutes. Once at Utsunomiya Station, exit and look for the bus terminal. Take bus number 1 or 2 towards Hanawada, and get off at the Hanawada 5 Chome stop. From there, Hachimanyama Park is a short 10-minute walk. Bus fare is approximately 500 yen.
