Public Transportation
From Tokyo Station, take the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line or the Shinkansen to Omiya Station. This journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once at Omiya Station, transfer to the Tobu Urban Park Line (Tobu Noda Line) and take the train towards Urawa-Misono Station. Get off at Miyashiro Station, which takes approximately 30 minutes. From Miyashiro Station, you can take a taxi to Tobu Zoo, which is about a 10-minute ride. Alternatively, you can catch the Tobu Bus from Miyashiro Station that directly goes to Tobu Zoo.
Car
If you are driving from Tokyo, take the Kan-Etsu Expressway and exit at the Fujimino IC. Follow Route 254 towards Miyashiro. Keep following the signs to Tobu Zoo. The zoo has a parking lot available, but there is a parking fee of approximately 1000 yen per day. The total drive time is about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic.
Bus
If you are in the Saitama area, you can take a direct Tobu Bus from Kumagaya Station. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes, and you will be dropped off at the Tobu Zoo entrance. Make sure to check the schedule as bus times may vary.
