Getting There

  • By Train and Bus

    From Tokyo, take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen to Utsunomiya Station (approximately 50 minutes). Then transfer to the JR Nikko Line and take the train to Nikko Station (about 45 minutes). Once at Nikko Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside. Take the Tobu Bus bound for Kegon Onsen (about 50 minutes). The bus will take you directly to Kegon Waterfalls, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

    From Tokyo, take the Tohoku Expressway (approximately 2 hours) and follow the signs to Nikko. Upon arriving in Nikko, continue on Route 120 and follow the signs to Kegon Waterfalls.
