Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Kawachi and head northwest on Route 163. Follow the signs for the Hanshin Expressway and merge onto it. Continue on the expressway for about 20 kilometers until you reach the exit for Asakusa. Once you exit, follow the signs for Asakusa and turn onto Route 6. Continue straight until you reach Kaminarimon, located at 2 Chome-3-1 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo. There is parking available nearby, but it can be limited, so plan accordingly.

Public Transportation
To reach Kaminarimon using public transportation, make your way to Kawachi Station and board the Kintetsu Railway. Take the train towards Osaka Namba Station and transfer to the Tokyo Metro at Umeda Station. From Umeda, take the Midosuji Line to Shinjuku Station, then switch to the Toei Subway Asakusa Line towards Nishi-magome. Get off at Asakusa Station. From the station, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Kaminarimon. Just follow the signs leading to Senso-ji Temple, and you will see the iconic Kaminarimon gate at the entrance.
