Getting There

Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the Ikaruga Station. Once you exit the station, head east on Route 168 for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by a few local shops and eateries. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road; take the left path onto Koyoshida Street. Kichiden-ji will be on your left at 1 Chome-1-23 Koyoshida.

From Kyoto Station, take the Kintetsu Bus bound for Nara and get off at the Ikaruga stop. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. After getting off, walk south for about 500 meters along the main road until you reach Koyoshida Street. Turn right onto Koyoshida Street and walk for about 1 kilometer. Kichiden-ji will be on your right at the address 1 Chome-1-23 Koyoshida.
