If you are driving to Yasaka Shrine, start by heading towards Route 6. From Kawachi, take Route 6 Northbound towards Toride. Follow the signs for Toride and continue for about 15 kilometers. Once you reach Toride City, look for the signs directing you to Yasaka Shrine. Turn onto Higashi 1 Chome and follow the road until you see the shrine on your right. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees, which typically range from 300 to 500 yen for a few hours.

For those using public transportation, take the JR Joban Line from Kawachi Station. Board a train heading towards Toride Station, which is about a 20-minute ride. Once you arrive at Toride Station, exit the station and head towards the west exit. From there, you can walk to Yasaka Shrine, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Simply follow the signs or use a maps application on your smartphone. If you prefer, you can also take a local bus from the station, which may incur a small fee of about 200 yen.

If you prefer a more direct route and are willing to spend a bit more, you can take a taxi. From anywhere in Kawachi, simply hail a taxi and give the driver the address: 1 Chome-2-9 Higashi, Toride, Ibaraki 302-0005. The fare will depend on your starting point, but expect to pay around 3,000 to 4,000 yen for a trip from central Kawachi.
