Public Transportation
If you are coming from Osaka Station, take the JR Osaka Loop Line to Namba Station. Once you arrive at Namba Station, take Exit 14. After exiting, head straight and you will find Dotonbori within a 10-minute walk. Look for the iconic Glico Man sign; the Dotonbori Bridge is just a short walk from there, crossing the canal.
Public Transportation
If you are in Kyoto, take the JR Special Rapid Service from Kyoto Station to Osaka Station. Transfer to the JR Osaka Loop Line to reach Namba Station. Upon arrival, follow the same instructions as above to reach Dotonbori Bridge.
Car
If you are driving from Kansai International Airport, take the Kansai Airport Express train to Namba Station. From there, you can either park at a nearby parking lot or drive directly into Dotonbori. Follow signs for Dotonbori, and park at one of the many available parking structures in the area. The Dotonbori Bridge is a short walk from any parking area.
Public Transportation
From Umeda, take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line from Umeda Station to Namba Station. Upon arrival at Namba, follow Exit 14 to get to Dotonbori. It’s about a 10-minute walk towards the Dotonbori area. Look for the bright lights and crowds; the Dotonbori Bridge will be hard to miss.
Car
If you are coming from Kobe, take the Hanshin Expressway Route 3 and follow the signs to Namba. Once you reach the Namba area, look for parking signs. The Dotonbori Bridge is within walking distance from any of the nearby parking lots. Just follow the signs or the crowd towards the Dotonbori canal.
