Getting There

Car
If you are driving from central Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway No. 1 and follow signs for Kyoto. Merge onto the Kinki Expressway (Kansai Expressway) towards Hirakata. Exit at Hirakata IC and follow the signs for Hirakata Park. The park is located at 1-1 Hirakatakoencho, Hirakata, Osaka 573-0054. There is ample parking available on-site.

Train
To reach Hirakata Park by train, take the Keihan Main Line from Kyoto Station or Namba Station in Osaka. If coming from Kyoto, travel towards Demachiyanagi Station and transfer to the Keihan Main Line at Sanjo. If coming from Osaka, take the train towards Takatsuki and get off at Hirakata Station. From Hirakata Station, take the Hirakata Park bus (about 10 minutes). Alternatively, it is a 20-minute walk from the station to the park.

Bus
You can also reach Hirakata Park via the bus system. From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus (Bus No. 206) towards Hirakata. Disembark at Hirakata Park bus stop, which is just outside the park entrance. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. If you are in Osaka, take the Osaka City Bus from either Osaka Station or Namba Station to Hirakata Park.
