Car
If you're traveling by car, the easiest way to reach Hirakata Park is to take the Hanshin Expressway. From Osaka, enter the Hanshin Expressway and follow the signs to the Route 1 toward Kyoto. After approximately 30 km, take the exit for Hirakata. Follow the signs for Hirakata Park (1-1 Hirakatakoencho, Hirakata, Osaka 573-0054). There is ample parking available at the park, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around ¥500 for a day.

Train
If you prefer public transportation, take the Keihan Line from Kyoto Station. Board a train bound for Yodoyabashi and transfer at Hirakata-shi Station. The journey will take about 50 minutes. From Hirakata-shi Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take the bus #2 or #3 which goes directly to Hirakata Park. The bus ride is approximately 15 minutes. A one-way train ticket will cost around ¥400, and the bus fare is typically around ¥230.

For those already in Osaka, you can take the JR train to Kyobashi Station and transfer to the Keihan Main Line. Take a train to Hirakata-shi Station. Once at Hirakata-shi Station, you can take the bus #2 from the bus terminal to Hirakata Park. The total travel time is about 45 minutes. The bus fare is around ¥230, and the train from Kyobashi to Hirakata-shi will cost about ¥350.
