    Getting There

    Public Transportation

    If you are traveling from Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Tofukuji Station. From Tofukuji Station, transfer to the Keihan Main Line and take a train heading towards Demachiyanagi Station. Upon arrival at Demachiyanagi Station, exit and head north on the main road for about 20 minutes until you reach Shimogamo Miyakawacho. The Kamogawa Delta will be on your right.

    Car

    From Kyoto Station, take the Shichijo Street and head east towards the Kamo River. Turn right onto the Kamo River Road and continue following the river, which will lead you to Shimogamo Miyakawacho. The Kamogawa Delta is located along the river, and there are parking areas nearby where you can leave your car.

    Public Transportation

    If you are coming from Gion, take the Keihan Main Line from Gion-Shijo Station towards Demachiyanagi Station. After about 10 minutes, get off at Demachiyanagi Station. From there, walk north along the river for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the Kamogawa Delta located at Shimogamo Miyakawacho.

    Car

    If you are coming from Arashiyama, head east on the Ryoanji Road towards the city center. Merge onto the Kitayama Street and continue until you reach the Kamo River. Turn left onto the Kamo River Road and follow it north until you reach Shimogamo Miyakawacho, where you can find the Kamogawa Delta.
