Getting There

Bus

From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, transfer to Bus 100 or 206 heading towards Kiyomizu-dera. Get off at the Kiyomizu-michi bus stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera. Follow the signs leading uphill, and you will see the temple entrance.
Train + Walk

From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Nara Line and take the train to Inari Station. From Inari Station, exit and walk towards Fushimi Inari Taisha. After visiting the shrine, walk back to Inari Station and take the JR Nara Line back to Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, board Bus 100 or 206 towards Kiyomizu-dera and get off at the Kiyomizu-michi bus stop. Walk for 10 minutes to reach Kiyomizu-dera.
Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Nara to Kiyomizu-dera. Tell the driver the address: 1 Chome-294 Kiyomizu, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto. The journey typically takes around 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
Walking
