Car
If you are traveling by car, you can take the Nishi-Meihan Expressway from Osaka or Kyoto. Follow the signs to Yamatokoriyama. Exit at the Yamatokoriyama IC and continue on Route 24 towards the center of Yamatokoriyama. The Koriyama Goldfish Museum is located at 107 Niikicho, Yamatokoriyama, Nara. There is parking available on-site, but please check for any parking fees.

Train
For those using public transportation, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka or Kyoto. If you’re coming from Osaka, board the Kintetsu Nara Line at Osaka-Namba Station heading towards Kintetsu Nara Station. Get off at Yamatokoriyama Station (approximately 50 minutes). From Yamatokoriyama Station, take a taxi (around 10 minutes, cost approximately ¥1,500) or you can walk (about 30 minutes) to the museum located at 107 Niikicho.

If you prefer to take a bus, from Nara Station, you can take the Nara Kotsu bus heading to Yamatokoriyama. Get off at the Koriyama Goldfish Museum stop. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. Please check the bus schedule for the latest times and costs, which are typically around ¥500.
