Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    From Osaka Station, take the JR Osaka Loop Line (green line) towards Namba Station. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Namba Station, exit through the South Gate and head towards the Namba Parks shopping complex. Follow the signs to Namba Yasaka Jinja, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station. You will walk past various shops and restaurants, and the shrine will be on your left at 2 Chome-9-19 Motomachi, Naniwa Ward.

  • Car

    If you are driving from Kyoto, take the Hanshin Expressway Route 1 towards Osaka. Exit at the Naniwa exit and follow the signs towards Namba. Drive straight until you reach the intersection with Midosuji Avenue. Turn left onto Midosuji and then take a right at the first traffic light onto Motomachi Street. Continue straight for about 1 km, and you will see Namba Yasaka Jinja on your right at 2 Chome-9-19 Motomachi, Naniwa Ward. There is limited parking available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    From Shin-Osaka Station, take the Midosuji Subway Line (red line) towards Namba Station. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Upon arriving at Namba Station, follow the signs to the South Exit and proceed towards the Namba Parks shopping complex. Walk for about 10 minutes while following the signs to Namba Yasaka Jinja, which is located at 2 Chome-9-19 Motomachi, Naniwa Ward.

  • Car

    From Kansai International Airport, take the Nankai Airport Line to Namba Station. Once there, exit the station and follow the signs to Namba Yasaka Jinja. Alternatively, if you are driving, take the Kansai International Airport Road towards the Hanshin Expressway, exit at the Naniwa exit, and drive towards Namba as described previously. Namba Yasaka Jinja is approximately 40 minutes from the airport by car, depending on traffic.
