Public Transportation
If you are in Osaka city, take the Osaka Metro (subway) Midosuji Line. Board at any station and head towards Nakamozu Station. Get off at Tennoji Station (approximately 10 minutes). From Tennoji Station, exit towards the East Exit and follow the signs to Shitenno-ji. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the station. You will need to walk through the park until you reach the temple's entrance at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward.
Car
If you are driving, take the Hanshin Expressway Route 1 (Namba Route) and exit at the 'Tennoji' exit. Follow the signs to Shitenno-ji, which is about a 5-minute drive from the exit. There is parking available nearby, but it may be limited, so plan to arrive early. Once parked, walk towards Shitenno-ji, which is located at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward.
Bus
To reach Shitenno-ji by bus, take the Osaka City Bus No. 88 or the No. 105 from Osaka Station. Get off at the Shitenno-ji-mae Yuhigaoka stop. From the bus stop, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the temple. Just head south towards the entrance located at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward.
