Car
If you are traveling by car, take the Hanshin Expressway and exit at the Tennoji exit. From there, follow the signs towards Shitennoji. The address is 2-15 Horikoshicho, Tennoji Ward, Osaka, 543-0056. Parking is available nearby but may incur fees, generally around 300 to 600 yen per hour depending on the lot.
Train
If you are using public transportation, take the Osaka Loop Line to Tennoji Station. From Tennoji Station, take the West Exit and walk for about 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the Tanimachi Line to Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station, which is a 5-minute walk from the temple. A one-way fare from Osaka Station to Tennoji Station is approximately 200 yen.
Bus
You can also take a bus to reach Shitennoji Koshindo. Board a bus that goes to Shitennoji or Tennoji area. Check local routes, as they vary depending on your starting location. The fare generally ranges from 210 to 500 yen depending on the distance.
