Best use of time and energy!
Nick did an outstanding job of explaining the history of Kyoto. He also gave great recommendations for events around the city and whether they were busy or not at certain times. Nick assisted with safety and comfort by providing rain gear and advice on how to be safe on the road. Overall, it was a great trip with value to any travelers seeking to get the most of the trip and a little exercise too! Great work Nick!

Great Day in Kyoto
We had a great day with Andrew. He is very knowledgeable and explained the significance of the gardens, temples and shrines very clearly and with the perfect level of detail. We loved seeing places we would not have seen on our own, especially because they were uncrowded and at least equal to the typical tourist spots We appreciated Andrew’s calm and unrushed approach. We learned so much and gained a deeper understanding of Japanese gardens, art and religion. We highly recommend this tour.

Atticus was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to talk with. He took us around to many different shrines and sites and gave context to the meanings and history for each. We had an immensely entertaining evening!
