Getting There

Walking

From Keihan Shichijo Station, walk north on Kawabata Dori, then east on Shomen Dori. The shrine is a short walk from the station, and the large torii gate is easily visible from Shomen Dori.
Public Transport

From Kyoto Station, take City Bus #206 and get off at Sanjusangendo-mae bus stop. The shrine is a short walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is ¥230 for adults and ¥120 for children.

Toyokuni Shrine, located in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, is a Shinto shrine built to commemorate Toyotomi Hideyoshi, one of Japan's most influential historical figures.
