Public Transportation
If you're starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway (green line) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at the Shijo Station (about 4 stops). From Shijo Station, transfer to the Keihan Main Line (blue line) at the nearby Keihan Sanjo Station. Take the train towards Yodoyabashi and get off at the Sanjo Station (2 stops). From Sanjo Station, it's a 15-minute walk to Yasui Kompiragū Shrine. Exit the station and head south, crossing the river, then follow the signs towards the shrine, located at 70 Shimobentencho, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, 605-0823.

If you're driving, head towards Kyoto city center. Use the Kyoto Higashi Highway (Kyoto City Loop Road) and take the exit for Sanjo-dori. Continue on Sanjo-dori until you reach Shimobentencho. There is limited parking near Yasui Kompiragū Shrine, so look for public parking lots nearby. Expect to pay around 300-500 yen per hour for parking. Once parked, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the shrine.
