Getting There

    If you are driving from Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway and merge onto the Kinki Expressway (E26) towards Nara. Follow the Kinki Expressway for approximately 30 kilometers, then take the exit for Yoshino. Follow Route 169 south towards Kamikitayama. After entering Kamikitayama, continue on Kotochi Street until you reach the entrance to Yoshino Kumano National Park at 660-1 Kotochi. Note that parking fees may apply at designated areas near the park.

    From Osaka, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka Namba Station to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. Change to the Kintetsu Yoshino Line and travel to Yoshino Station. At Yoshino Station, take the bus operated by Nara Kotsu Bus towards Kamikitayama. Get off at Kotochi, which is the nearest bus stop to Yoshino Kumano National Park. The total travel time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Be sure to check the bus schedule as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
