Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Tanabe and take Route 42 towards Hongucho Yunomine. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Yunomine Onsen. Look for signs directing you to Tsubo-yu, which is located in the Yunomine area. You can park nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Tsubo-yu via public transportation, take the JR Kisei Line from Tanabe Station to Shingu Station, and then transfer to the Nankai Kisei Line to get to Gobo Station. From Gobo Station, take the bus bound for Yunomine Onsen. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Yunomine Onsen, Tsubo-yu is a short walk from the bus stop. Look for signs that direct you to the onsen, which is located at Hongucho Yunomine, Tanabe, Wakayama 647-1732.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of Yunomine Onsen, Tsubo-yu is easily accessible by foot. From the Yunomine Onsen bus stop, walk towards the hot spring area, and follow the path leading to Tsubo-yu. The onsen is known for its unique outdoor bath experience. Make sure to bring your own towel and any necessary bathing supplies.
