Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Kumano Kodo trailhead in Tanabe. Take Route 42 south and then merge onto Route 311. Continue on Route 311 for about 30 minutes until you reach Hongucho Mikoshi. Look for signs directing you to Mizunomi-oji, which is located at Hongucho Mikoshi, Tanabe, Wakayama 647-1744. There is some parking available nearby, but it might be limited, so arrive early if possible.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Nanki Kuroshio Limited Express train from Kii-Tanabe Station to Shingu Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From Shingu Station, take a bus towards Hongucho Mikoshi. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Mizunomi-oji' bus stop. The site is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are already in the vicinity of Hongucho Mikoshi, you can walk to Mizunomi-oji. From the center of Hongucho Mikoshi, head towards the main road and follow the signs for Mizunomi-oji. It's about a 10-15 minute walk, and the paths are generally well-marked.
