    If you are traveling by car, start by heading northwest on Route 162 (Kyoto-Tango Line) from your current location in Kyoto countryside. Continue on Route 162 for about 15 minutes, following the signs for Umegahata Toganoocho. Once you reach the Umegahata Toganoocho area, turn onto Umegahata Toganoocho street. Kozan-ji will be on your right at 8 Umegahata Toganoocho. There is parking available nearby.
