Car
If you're driving from the Kyoto countryside, take the Meishin Expressway towards Osaka. Exit at the Ikeda IC and merge onto Route 176. Follow it until you reach the junction with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 and follow the signs for Osaka. Once you enter Osaka, stay in the right lane towards Namba. Use the exit for Namba, and follow the signs for 1 Chome Namba. Namba HIPS will be on your right at 1 Chome-8-16 Namba, Chuo Ward, Osaka.
Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Special Rapid Service to Osaka Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Osaka Station, transfer to the Osaka Loop Line and head towards Namba Station. Once you arrive at Namba Station, exit the station and head towards Namba Parks. Namba HIPS is located just a short 5-minute walk from Namba Station. Head south on Namba Walk until you reach 1 Chome-8-16 Namba.
Bus
If you prefer traveling by bus, take the Kyoto City Bus bound for Osaka (look for buses heading to 'Umeda' or 'Namba'). The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Namba, follow the signs leading to the Namba Underground Walkway. Namba HIPS is located a short walk from the bus stop. Head to 1 Chome-8-16 Namba, Chuo Ward, Osaka, which should be easy to find as it is in a popular area.
