Car
If you are driving from central Kyoto, take Route 162 (Kyoto Prefectural Route 162) towards the northwest. Follow the signs to Sagano and Arashiyama. Once you reach the intersection near the Arashiyama area, turn onto Route 21 (Sagano Hozu Line) and continue until you see signs for Rokuo-in. The temple is located at 24 Sagakitaboricho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-8367. There is usually parking available near the entrance, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Sanin Line (also known as the JR West line) to Saga-Arashiyama Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take the Kyoto City Bus #93 or #28 towards 'Kiyotakiyama' and disembark at the 'Rokuo-in' bus stop. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 5 minutes. Bus fare is around 230 yen.
