Follow the signs for Shitenno-ji, which is located at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji in Tennoji Ward. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for parking fees which can range from 300 to 600 yen per hour.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, first make your way to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Osaka Station. Once at Osaka Station, transfer to the JR Loop Line and get off at Tennoji Station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs for the east exit. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Shitenno-ji. As for costs, the train fare from Kyoto Station to Osaka Station is around 560 yen, and the JR Loop Line to Tennoji is about 210 yen.

    If you're located in the outskirts of Kyoto, you might consider taking a bus to the nearest major train station. For example, take a local bus to JR Nara Line's Yamashina Station.
