    If you are traveling by car, start from central Kyoto and head south on the Meishin Expressway (Route 1). Follow signs for Osaka, and take the exit towards Tennoji.   • Public Transportation - Train

    To reach Shitenno-ji Gojunoto via public transportation, take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station to Tennoji Station. The ride takes about 45 minutes. From Tennoji Station, take Exit 1 and walk for about 15 minutes towards Shitennoji Temple. You can also take the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line to Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station, which is a short 5-minute walk from the pagoda.
