If you are traveling by car, start from central Kyoto and head south on the Meishin Expressway (Route 1). Follow signs for Osaka, and take the exit towards Tennoji. Once you exit, follow the signs towards Shitennoji Temple (Shitennoji-ji). The pagoda is located at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward, Osaka, 543-0051. Parking is available near the temple, but be aware that there may be a parking fee of approximately 500-1000 yen depending on the duration of your stay.

Public Transportation - Train
To reach Shitenno-ji Gojunoto via public transportation, take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station to Tennoji Station. The ride takes about 45 minutes. From Tennoji Station, take Exit 1 and walk for about 15 minutes towards Shitennoji Temple. You can also take the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line to Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station, which is a short 5-minute walk from the pagoda. The train fare from Kyoto Station to Tennoji Station is approximately 560 yen.

Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, you can take a highway bus from Kyoto to Osaka. From Kyoto Station, board an express bus to Osaka Station (Umeda). The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 1,000 yen. Once at Osaka Station, transfer to the JR Loop Line and get off at Tennoji Station. From there, follow the walking directions provided for the train option to reach Shitenno-ji Gojunoto.
