Walking
From the Higashiyama subway station, walk east along Sanjo-dori Street. Turn south onto Hanamikoji Street, known for its traditional wooden machiya houses. Continue south, then turn east on Shijo-dori Street. Turn north onto Tominaga-cho. MOst beautiful will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes.

From Kyoto Station, take bus number 100 or 206 towards Higashiyama. Get off at the 'Higashiyama' bus stop. From there, walk east along the main road for about 10 minutes to Tominagacho. The bus fare is approximately ¥230.
