    From the Higashiyama subway station, walk east along Sanjo-dori Street. Turn south onto Hanamikoji Street, known for its traditional wooden machiya houses. Continue south, then turn east on Shijo-dori Street. Turn north onto Tominaga-cho. MOst beautiful will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes.
