Getting There

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located just outside the station.

  • Bus

    At Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus (number 2 or 6) heading towards 'Gango-ji'. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Gango-ji' bus stop, which is a short walk from the temple.

  • Walking

    After getting off the bus at 'Gango-ji', walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see the entrance to Gango-ji Temple on your right. The temple is located at 'Chuincho, 11, Nara'.
