    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from Nara Park, head south towards Nara City. Take the main path that leads you past the Todai-ji Temple. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Sanjo-dori. Turn left onto Sanjo-dori and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see a sign for Sarusawa-ike Pond on your right, just before you reach Ganriincho. The pond will be directly in front of you.

    Bus

    From Nara Station, take bus number 70 or 72 towards Kasuga Taisha. Get off at the 'Kintetsu Nara Station' stop. From there, walk east towards Sanjo-dori. Once you reach Sanjo-dori, turn right and continue walking for about 5 minutes. You will arrive at Sarusawa-ike Pond, which will be on your right at the intersection with Ganriincho.

    Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle in Nara, start from Nara Park and cycle towards the east exit of the park. Continue along the path until you reach Sanjo-dori. Turn left onto Sanjo-dori and bike for about 1 kilometer. Sarusawa-ike Pond will be on your right side as you approach Ganriincho. There are bike racks available near the pond for parking.
