Getting There

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take bus number 28 towards 'Arashiyama'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at 'Sagatenjiji' bus stop. From there, walk for about 10 minutes west along the road, and you will arrive at Kimono Forest, located at 20-2 Sagatenryuji Tsukurimichicho.

  • Train and Walk

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Sanin Line (also known as the Sagano Line) towards 'Kameoka'. Get off at 'Saga-Arashiyama Station', which takes about 15 minutes. Exit the station and walk towards the north for about 15 minutes along the river. Follow the signs to Kimono Forest, which is located at 20-2 Sagatenryuji Tsukurimichicho.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Kyoto Station. Head northwest along the Kamo River, and then follow the signs towards Arashiyama. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Arashiyama, continue towards Sagatenryuji Tsukurimichicho, and you will find Kimono Forest at 20-2 Sagatenryuji Tsukurimichicho.
