    Getting There

    Train

    If you're starting from Kyoto Station, take the JR Sanin Line towards Saga-Arashiyama Station. The train ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and walk towards the north exit. From there, follow the signs to the Sagano Romantic Train. The train station is about a 10-minute walk from the Saga-Arashiyama Station.

    Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus #28 (bound for Arashiyama). The journey will take about 45 minutes. Get off at 'Arashiyama Torokko Station' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the Sagano Romantic Train station.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a rental shop near Kyoto Station. Follow the path towards the west along the river, heading towards Arashiyama. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach the Arashiyama area, follow the signs to the Sagano Romantic Train station.
