Our experience was nothing short of incredible. This was our first activity during our time in Kyoto and it has set the bar high. We learned so much about the Geishas, the history of Kyoto and the shrines which inhabit it. Our tour guide Akari was born and raised in Kyoto, and provided us with amazing recommendations for the rest of our time in Kyoto. Sean is an incredible guide and took great care in customizing my itinerary so it was perfect for me, I got to see the sites I wanted to, in the comfort of the private car which was a life saver in the heat, and enabled me to go all over Kyoto! Sean is very knowledgeable and is fun to spend time with, he was a thorough guide and he’s considerate - including naming where a route may be more walking, including rest, and even making sure to be a very safe driver! He also went above and beyond to make sure I could eat on the journey, taking me to special food spots that accommodate my allergies and asking at each to make sure I would be okay to eat there. It honestly made my trip so enjoyable and I got to see and learn so much I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy without Sean. I can’t recommend him enough.
