Public Transport - Subway
If you are near Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line (Green Line) and head north. Get off at Shijo Station (4 stops, approximately 10 minutes). Once you exit the station, take the East Exit. Walk east along Shijo Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Kamo River. Minamiza Theater will be just across the bridge on your right.

From Kyoto Station, you can take Bus No. 100 or 206. Board the bus at the Kyoto Station Bus Terminal and get off at the Shijo Kawaramachi stop (about 15 minutes). After getting off, walk east along Shijo Street about 3 minutes. You will see Minamiza Theater on your left side.

If you are close to Gion, you can walk to Minamiza Theater. Start from Yasaka Shrine, head north on Shijo Avenue for about 10 minutes. As you walk, you will notice the shopping area on your right. Continue walking until you reach the Kamo River. The theater is located just across the bridge at the intersection of Shijo Street and the Kamo River.
