    Getting There

    Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 100 or 206 towards 'Higashiyama' or 'Gion'. Get off at the 'Ginkaku-ji Michi' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Philosopher's Path. Head north on 'Higashiyama-dori' and then turn left onto 'Tetsugaku No Michi'. The entrance to the Philosopher's Path will be on your right.

    Train

    Take the Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to 'Kitaoji Station'. Transfer to the Kyoto City Bus number 204 or 205 and get off at the 'Ginkaku-ji Michi' stop. Walk north on 'Higashiyama-dori' and turn left onto 'Tetsugaku No Michi'. The Philosopher's Path will be right ahead.

    Walking

    If you are staying in the northern part of Kyoto, you can walk to the Philosopher's Path. From the Nanzen-ji Temple, head north on 'Nanzenji Nandai' street and continue straight until you reach the Philosopher's Path. It will be on your left, and you can enjoy the scenic walk along the path.
