    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Line towards Osaka. Alight at Nishinomiya Station. From Nishinomiya Station, exit and head southeast on the main road. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Ueno Shrine located at 7-chome-15 Imazuuenocho.

    From Kyoto Station, you can take a bus to Nishinomiya. You will need to transfer to a local bus line that goes towards Imazuuenocho. Alight at the Imazu stop, then walk about 5 minutes northwest to reach Ueno Shrine.
