If you are in the heart of Umeda, you can simply walk to the 空中庭園 (Umeda Sky Building) which is approximately a 15-minute walk from Osaka Station. Head northeast from Osaka Station, following the signs for the Umeda Sky Building. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. As you walk, look for the large, distinctive twin towers of the Sky Building. Once you reach the building, enter through the main entrance and take the elevator to the 39th floor for breathtaking views.

From Umeda Station (which is connected to Osaka Station), take the Midosuji Line (red line) towards Nakamozu. Get off at Namba Station (only 2 stops). From Namba Station, transfer to the Yotsubashi Line (blue line) towards Sumiyoshi. Get off at Higashi-Umeda Station (only 2 stops). Exit the station and follow the signs to the Umeda Sky Building, which is a short 10-minute walk away. The total cost for this subway journey is approximately 280 yen.
