Walking
If you are near Kiyomizu-dera Temple, head down the hill towards Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka streets. Continue walking straight until you reach the main street (Shijo-dori). Turn left on Shijo-dori and walk until you see the entrance to Maruyama Park on your right. It should take about 15 minutes.

From the Gion area, walk to Gion Bus Stop. Take the Kyoto City Bus number 100 or 206 towards Kyoto Station. Get off at the 'Yasaka Jinja' stop. From there, Maruyama Park is just a few minutes' walk. Follow the signs to Yasaka Shrine, and you'll find the park adjacent to it. The bus fare is approximately 230 yen.
