Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. Get off at Tofuku-ji Station (approximately 5 minutes). From Tofuku-ji Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop outside. Take the Kyoto City Bus number 202 or 207 towards Daigo-ji. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Daigo-ji' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes to reach the entrance of Daigo-ji Temple.
Public Transport
Alternatively, from Kyoto Station, you can take the Karasuma Subway Line to Takeda Station (approximately 15 minutes). At Takeda Station, transfer to the Kyoto Bus number 15 or 18 towards Daigo-ji. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Daigo-ji' bus stop and walk around 5 minutes to reach the temple.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Fushimi Ward, you can walk to Daigo-ji Temple. Starting from Fushimi Inari Taisha, head southwest along the main road (Inariyama-dori) for about 1.5 km (approximately 20 minutes). Follow the signs towards Daigo-ji Temple, and you will arrive at the temple's entrance.
