Public Transport (Train)
If you are near Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Shijo Station. From there, exit the station and walk east on Shijo Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the Kamo River. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverside until you find Kiyamachi Dori, which runs parallel to the river.

From Kyoto Station, take the City Bus number 205 or 17 towards Sanjo Keihan. Get off at the Shijo Kawaramachi stop. After exiting the bus, walk north for about 3 minutes. You will reach the intersection where Kiyamachi Dori begins, which is just a block away from the Kamo River.
