Public Transport - Subway
If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line (green line) towards Kokusaikaikan. After three stops, get off at Karasuma Oike Station. At Karasuma Oike Station, transfer to the Tozai Subway Line (light blue line) towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Ride for two stops and get off at Nijojo-mae Station. Once you exit the station, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Nijō Castle, located at 541 Nijojocho, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto.
