Walking
If you're starting from Kyoto Station, exit the station and head towards the Karasuma Exit. From there, walk to the Karasuma Subway Line and take the subway to Shijo Station, which is about a 10-minute ride. Once you arrive at Shijo Station, take Exit 1. After exiting the station, turn left and walk along Shijo Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Nishiki Market. Continue walking straight through the market until you reach the intersection with Sanjo Street. Turn right onto Sanjo Street and walk for about 5 minutes. You will see the entrance to Shinkyogoku Park on your left.

Public Transportation
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Shijo Station. This journey typically takes around 10 minutes. After exiting the station via Exit 1, head east on Shijo Street. Walk for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the Nishiki Market. Continue through the market, which will lead you to the intersection with Sanjo Street. At this intersection, turn right onto Sanjo Street and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will find Shinkyogoku Park on your left side.

After disembarking, walk towards the west on Shijo Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Sanjo Street. Turn left onto Sanjo Street and walk for another 5 minutes.
